Digital Communications Council
The Digital Communications Council (DCC) and its committees represent the governance structure for the technical aspects and user experience related to digital communications at the University of Arkansas. The DCC is a framework for establishing accountability, roles, and decision-making authority for an organization’s digital presence including websites, mobile applications, social channels, and any other Internet or Web-enabled products and services.
The body is composed of directors of communications from each college as well as any division with a director of communication. This group is charged with developing recommendations for marketing goals, quality assurance and brand stewardship among many other content related needs. The group meets monthly and anyone is welcome to attend. Voting on issues is limited to members, but anyone may participate in the discussions.

This group is charged with developing recommendations for technology adoption, restriction, standards and guidelines for use. The group meets as needed and anyone is welcome to attend. This group is charged with developing recommendations for design patterns and frameworks, visual style, user interfaces and standards and guidelines for use in our style guide. The body is composed of webmasters and content contributors from across campus. this group focuses on training and support processes, needs and quality for all digital content and supporting platforms and tools. The group meets as needed and anyone is welcome to attend. Voting on issues is limited to members, but anyone may participate in the discussion.
The body is composed of webmasters, members of digital design and development and its. The group is charged with researching and implementing updates, standards, guidelines and features in Modern Campus CMS and Wordpress.
The body is composed of webmasters and content contributors from across campus assisting with the mobile app content, structure, implememtation, access as well as future features and rollouts.
The role of the calendar steering committee is to provide advice, support, guidance and oversight for the Localist calendaring system. This steering committie assists with categorization, groups, locations and other aspects of the calendar as well as testing the training and calendar implementation process.
