Modern Campus CMS Training

This introductory course is designed specifically to train departmental webmasters and content contributors on Modern Campus CMS, the content management system (CMS) for the University of Arkansas website. Instruction will include the basic layout of the user interface including the dashboard and content management as well as hands-on training for building pages and sections in department websites.

Course topics include:
• Modern Campus CMS login
• Basic web accessibility
• Website file structure
• Content creation/management (hands-on)

If you have been through the training and would like a refresher on any of the topics, you can visit the online Modern Campus CMS Training pages and select which topic you would like to review.

We also now offer a blackboard version of the training as well, this version covers all the same material iand includes a practical hands on portion along with an end of course exam that must be passed to gain access to your webpages. The best part about this version of the training is that it can be done at your own pace.

WordPress

This introductory course is designed to train departmental webmasters, faculty, and staff on WordPress, a content management system (CMS) for approved uses within the University of Arkansas system. Instruction includes an introduction to the functions of the site dashboard as well as training for building pages and uploading content.

JADU XForms

This intermediate training is designed to train departmental webmasters and content contributors on the new JADU XForms. These forms features include branching logic, matrix questions, rules and much more.
