WEBfirst Web Series
Due to safety concerns around COVID-19 we reformated the 2020 WEBfirst Conference into a year-long WEBfirst Web Series.
We understand that expecting you all to sit through an entire morning of presentations on your computer is a lot to ask. We have decided to spread the presentations out through the year during the bi-monthly WEBfirst Community meetings. These presentations will be available through WebEx as well as recorded for future viewing.
We sincerely hope this new format will be more convenient for our community. As each event approaches, we will send invitations through our WEBfirst listserv to the WEBfirst Community with the option to sign up for individual WebFirst Web Series options. If you wish to receive these invitations and stay connected to WEBfirst, please sign up.
The fourth installment of our WEBfirst Web Series will take place on Wednesday, March 3, at 10:30 am. This series, presented by Kelly Bostick, will focus on OUCampus Extras including some things you may have forgotten from training as well as a couple of new features in OUCampus. Register now for our upcoming WEBfirst Web Series session next month!

When communicating to the University community, a wide range of audiences comes into play – be it students, alumni, donors, faculty, staff, stakeholders, or even the general public. This first session of our WEBfirst Web Series, Rebecca Sims, web developer for Enrollment Services, and Amy Cole, Digital Media Program Manager for The University of Arkansas System, Division of Agriculture, Cooperative Extension Service, will show you why defining your online audience matters and how best to target that audience using research-based digital media writing and web strategies.
